Denim all over!

Sure, denim has been a trend for a long time, but never so much in demand as it is today. If the top-to-toe denim look was considered uncool a few years ago, today it is totally hip. Even with an elegant evening dress, a denim jacket is not a no-go, but is instead seen as a bold fashion statement. And the denim trend does not stop at clothes: Makeup artist Serena Goldenbaum reveals what makeup you can use with your denim look.

"This season even the makeup matches the slogan 'blue like jeans' — blue eyeliner has become a firm favorite in our makeup bags. The great thing about this is that no matter what color your eyes are, blue is a real all-rounder and suits everyone.

An important tip for this look: Less is more!

Blue eyeliner doesn't go with strong makeup. Lipstick and blusher should not be applied too thickly, so that the focus stays just on the eyes.
A lightly tinted day cream makes a good base, with a highlighter applied to the cheekbones, the Cupid's bow and the bridge of the nose. For a slightly fresher look, use a cream blush. For the lips I recommend a nude lipstick or just a gloss.

Before the eyeliner is applied, the eyelid should be powdered with a transparent powder. This removes any oiliness from the eyelid so that the eyeliner is easier to apply and stays on longer. Finally, draw on the eyelid line, pull on your favorite jeans and the look is complete!"
